All: I'm a journo doing a story on Fresno for a gay publication. Would like to know about cool coffee houses, clubs, etc.--mixed and alternative is fine, they don't have to be 100% gay or lesbian. Anything counterculture/alternative/otherwise cool will work. THANKS VERY MUCH for pointing me in the right direction!

Mon, January 7, 2008 - 1:16 AMThere is a great bar over on blackstone Ave that has a really good mix of gay,striaght, and bi people all hanging out together partying. The times I've been there, there's been a really good atmosphere in there.
Also, there is a small (struglgling but growing) athiest group that gathers in Fresno once a month. If you'd like to network/socialize with other local athiests, it's a great chance to do that. www.cvaas.org/ I think their next meeting if Feb 7.
